Training Programme on International Financial Reporting StandardsICAB Centre for Professional Excellence (ICPE) organized a training programme on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the Officials of ACI Godrej Agrovet Private Limited started from Saturday, 25 February and scheduled to be completed on 25 March 2017 at ICPE training room. Senior Fellow Member Ajit Kumar Paul FCA was the resource person in the closing session. ICAB President Adeeb Hossain Khan FCA and Vice President (E&T) Mostafa Kamal FCA were present in the concluding session. A total number of 50 participants took part in the Workshop. There were 10 resource persons, 8 facilitators from LGSP office conducted the sessions. A total number of 1414 students from audit and reviewer firms and 64 district facilitators attended the training sessions. On a request from the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Local Governance Support Project (LGSP-2), ICAB organized the Orientation & Training Programme titled: Financial Audit, Performance Assessment, Fiduciary & Safeguards Compliance Assessment for the Audit Firms, Reviewer Firms and District Facilitators for the audit of 2015-16. The training programme was started from 7 February at ICAB academic campus and ended on 11 February 2017. Abdul Malek, Secretary, Local Government Division, Ministry of LGRD & Coperatives, GoB graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Iqramul Haque, Additional Secretary & National Project Director, Local Government Division of the same Ministry, Adeeb Hossain Khan FCA, President, ICAB, Mohammad Yah-Ya Bhuiyan, Deputy Project Director (Admin, Finance & Prot.), LGSP-2, LGD, Ajit Kumar Paul FCA, Secretary (Additional Secretary), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority(BIDA) and Gopal Chandra Ghosh FCA, Member, Council ICAB were present on the occasion.
